The Bhagavad Gita Como As it is

Chapter 9 - Text 31
By His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada

Purport

Continuous thinking of the Supreme Lord makes the devotee pure by nature. According to the Vedas, there is a certain regulation that if one falls down from his exalted position he has to undergo certain ritualistic processes to purify himself. But here there is no such condition, because the purifying process is already there in the heart of the devotee, due to his remembering the Supreme Personality of Godhead constantly. Therefore, the chanting of Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare should be continued without stoppage. This will protect a devotee from all accidental falldowns. He will thus remain perpetually free from all material contaminations.

Prediction

Chaitanya's prediction from Chaitanya-Bhagavata: prthivite ache yada nagaradi-grama sarvatra pracara haibe mora nama. "In every town and village in the world, the holy name of Krsna will be sung."

Right Posture: Dos and Don’ts

1 Sit with your spine upright and straight.
Your spine should be at a ninety-degree angle.
Don’t sit like a camel. No hunchbacks!

2 Keep your shoulders relaxed. Do not keep your shoulders tensed.

3 Keep your eyes lightly closed. Do not close them tightly.

4 It’s not necessary to sit in padmasan (in the lotus posture).
If you are comfortable sitting in padmasana, it is good.
Else a cross-legged posture is also fine.
It fights against the force of gravity and it helps you to sit for long.
Now, don’t move your body. Sit as if you were a statue.
